Woman Charged With Murder Following Man's Death In Newry
Detectives from the PSNI's Major Investigation Team, who launched a murder investigation following the suspicious death of a man in Newry, have charged a woman to court.
A 40-year-old man died on Saturday, 28 June 2025, after sustaining a serious injury in the Fisher Park area of the city.
The woman, aged 50, has been charged with murder. She is expected to appear before Newry Magistrates' Court today, Tuesday, 1 July 2025.
As is standard procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

Man Charged With Attempted Murder
A 35-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. The victim, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition after being assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. The suspect is due to appear at Coleraine Magistrates' Court on Monday, 17 October.

PNSI Major Investigation Team detectives investigating the death of a 65-year-old woman in L'Derry have charged a 28-year-old man with murder, rape and arson. Montserrat Martorell was found murdered in a property in Harvey Street, that had been set alight in the early hours of Saturday, 24 August.

Woman charged in connection with murder of Fermanagh man
A woman, who was arrested by police following the death of a man in County Fermanagh in the early hours of Wednesday morning, has today been charged with his murder. Stephen Robinson, 39, was discovered stabbed to death at his home at Cullaghmore Road in Irvinestown, at around 3.25am.

Heriberto Viramontes, 34, is accused of trying to kill Ms McShane and her friend in Chicago three years ago.
