Maguiresbridge Murder: Appeal For Information
Detectives from the PSNI's Major Investigation Team are continuing their enquiries into the tragic shooting incident in Maguiresbridge on Wednesday, 23 July, which led to the deaths of 45-year-old Vanessa Whyte, her son James Rutledge, 14, and daughter Sara Rutledge, 13. A man from the same household was also seriously injured in the incident.
As the investigation progresses, police are making a specific appeal for public assistance regarding the movements of a particular vehicle.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil McGuinness said: "Our investigation is ongoing and we are working tirelessly to determine the exact circumstances of this tragedy. I would continue to appeal generally for anyone with information to come forward and more specifically I would ask anyone who saw a silver Mercedes saloon car being driven in the Clones Road area of Newtownbutler, or between Maguiresbridge and Newtownbutler, on the evening of Tuesday, 22 July, to call detectives on 101, quoting reference 276 23/07/25. Anyone who was travelling in the area and who may have captured dash-cam footage which could assist, please get in touch."

Appeal For Information On Armed Robbery In Maguiresbridge
Police have issued an appeal for information following an armed robbery of a house in the Gardiners Cross Road area of Maguiresbridge on Friday 21 September. Shortly after 9pm four masked men, armed with knives, entered a house and threatened the male occupant, before tying him up and making off with a sum of money and two mobile phones.

Police Make Arrest Over 2004 Murder
A man has been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of Kevin McAlorum in Co Antrim over fifteen years ago. Mr McAlorum was gunned down outside a primary school in Derriaghy on 03 June 2004. The 55-year-old man was arrested under the Terrorism Act in Belfast by the PSNI's Major Investigation Team on Tuesday 17 September.

Ian Rutledge, aged 43, passed away on Monday, 28 July, after being hospitalised in a serious condition since the incident.
