Masked Man Points Suspected Firearm At Female
Police have launched an investigation after a masked man pointed what is believed to be a suspected firearm, or intimidation firearm, at a female in the Omagh area of County Tyrone.
A report was made last night (6 August) shortly after 11pm detailing the incident which occurred in the back garden of a house in Beattie Villas.
The man also made threats to the female, who was in the garden at the time, before leaving. There are no reports of any injuries.
Police are appealing to anyone with any information, dash-cam or doorbell footage or who witnessed any suspicious vehicles in the area, particularly around Edenderry Road, last night to get in contact.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested and a suspected firearm recovered during a police operation in west Belfast on the evening og Sunday, 07 July. Inspector McCullough said: "Officers carried out planned searches at two properties in the Kashmir Road area of the city – where a suspected firearm and other items were seized from one of the addresses.

Appeal After Masked Men Force Entry Into Home Of Elderly Man
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information after five masked me forced entry into the home of an man aged in his 70s, on the Saintfield Road. Police received a report shortly before 11.30pm on Saturday, 17th February that between 10pm and 10.30pm on the same evening, five masked men entered a house in the Saintfield Road area.

A pensioner has been taken to hospital after being shot in the chest by a masked man in Ballycastle, County Antrim. The 74-year-old man was working in a shed at a property in the Islandboy Road area at about 20:45 on Thursday evening when the attacker approached and shot him.

Man Shot In The Leg In Derry
A 39-year-old man has been shot in Londonderry. Three shots were fired at him as he answered the door to two masked men, at round 10.30pm in the Glendara area on Wednesday night. He was shot in the leg as he tried to close the door. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
