The cultivation spanned two floors of the building. Detectives believe the potential value of the cannabis yield could be in the region of £400,000 per harvest. The operation is believed to be linked to organised crime.

Following the arrests, a second property in Newtownabbey was searched, where approximately £13,000 cash was seized.

A considerable policing operation is now underway to dismantle the facility. Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them on 101, quoting reference 605 20/08/25.
