Police attended planned protests across several locations in Northern Ireland on Thursday, 18 September, deploying a number of officers, including specially trained evidence gatherers.

The demonstrations took place in areas including Belfast, Newtownabbey, and Carrickfergus.

There was some minor traffic disruption, but the protests all passed off without any incident or disorder. The police have confirmed that no arrests were made.
