Four Hospitalised Alongside Police In South Belfast Incident

Police in south Belfast have confirmed that four people and a number of officers were taken to hospital following an incident at a property on Damascus Street on Tuesday evening, 30 September. All have since been discharged.

Authorities were called to the scene after several individuals reported feeling unwell. Initial concerns that a noxious substance may have been involved have been ruled out, with tests confirming no hazardous materials were detected.

A quantity of suspected drugs was removed from the property, and police said enquiries into the circumstances remain ongoing.
