Shots Fired At House In Downpatrick's Lisnamual Close
Detectives have launched an investigation after shots were fired at a house in the Lisnamual Close area of Downpatrick early today, Thursday, 2 October 2025.
It was reported that shortly after 12.20am, two shots were fired at the house, which broke the front window and struck a wall inside the property.
Police confirmed that, thankfully, the occupants of the house were not injured during the incident.
Detectives are currently working to establish a motive for the attack. They are appealing to anyone with information, or who may have captured footage from the area that could assist with their enquiries, to contact them at Ardmore station on 101, quoting reference 13 02/10/25.

Two shots have been fired at a house while three people, including two children, were sleeping upstairs. The incident happened at a property in the Shimna Walk area in Lurgan on Saturday, 02 September, at around 10.30pm. No-one was hurt, however a man was seen running away from the scene.

A number of shots have been fired at a house in Ballyclare just after midnight on Tuesday. The incident occurred at a property on the Rashee Road at approximately 12.30am. No one was in the property at the time. Two men were seen running from the scene in the direction of Ballyclare.
