Two Men Arrested Over Suspected Explosive Device
Two men have been arrested in connection with the discovery of a suspected improvised explosive device in the Ravensdale area of County Louth on Sunday, 9 June 2024.
The arrests were made yesterday, Tuesday, 14 October in the Fermanagh and Dungannon areas by the PSNI's Terrorism Investigation Unit.
The men, aged 44 and 49, were arrested under Section 41 Terrorism of the Terrorism Act 2000 and have been taken to the Serious Crime Suite at Musgrave Police Station for questioning.
To date, detectives have charged two men, both aged 44, in connection with this investigation. Officers also continue to work closely with colleagues in An Garda Síochána (the police service of the Republic of Ireland).

Three men arrested during an anti-terrorism investigation in Lurgan have been released, the PSNI has reported. The men, aged 38, 45 and 52, were arrested on Thursday by officers from the PSNI's Terrorism Investigation Unit. A number of properties were searched during the operation and a number of items were removed for further examination.

Two Men Arrested On Suspicion Of Kidnapping
Police have arrested two men on suspicion of kidnapping. The males, aged 33 and 31, were detained in Co L'Derry. It is believed there arrests are in connection with an incident in the city on Thursday, 26 October. No further details have been released.

Man Arrested In L'Derry
A 20-year-old man has been arrested in L'Derry. Officers from the PSNI's Terrorism Investigation unit carried out a search at a property in connection with an ongoing on Wednesday, 04 November. A number of items were seized for further examination. The man was taken to be questioned, however he has now been released.
