Woman Dies In Comber Road Collision

A woman, aged in her 60s, has died following a serious road collision in Comber on Monday, 20 October.

Emergency services attended the scene of a single vehicle road crash on the Ballygowan Road.

The driver of the vehicle died as a result of the collision, police have confirmed.

Inspector Cherith Adair from the Collision Investigation Unit stated: "Our officers attended, supported by colleagues from partner emergency services. However, sadly the driver of the car, a woman aged in her 60s, was confirmed deceased at the scene. The Ballygowan Road has now reopened.

"Collision Investigation Unit detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances of this collision. We are particularly keen to hear from persons who witnessed the incident or hold digital footage which may assist with enquiries.

"This includes dash-cam, mobile, CCTV or other material.  Contact police on 101, quoting reference number 651 of 20/10/25."

Woman Killed In Co Armagh Road Collision
A woman in her 30s has been killed in a road crash in Portadown, Co Armagh. The woman was hit by a car as she was walking on the side of the Moy Road at around 9.45pm on Tuesday. The road was closed for a short time but it has been reopened. Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

Man Killed In Co Antrim Road Collision Named
A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
