Renewed Appeal Over Fatal East Belfast Collision

The PSNI's Collision Investigation Unit have issued a renewed appeal for information following a fatal single-vehicle collision in east Belfast last month.

The collision, involving a motorcycle, was reported to police at approximately 11.45pm on Sunday, 28 September 2025, in the Castlereagh Road area. The rider of the motorcycle, 37-year-old William Hunter from the Belfast area, sadly died later from his injuries in hospital.

As part of their ongoing enquiries, investigators are seeking to identify the driver of a car. Police believe this car turned from the Castlereagh Road onto Willowfield Street at around 11.45pm on Sunday, 28 September 2025, and that the person driving may be able to assist with the investigation.

Police are urging the driver of the car, or anyone who has information which could assist them, to make contact immediately.

A man has been injured in a two-car collision in east Belfast. The crash happened on the Upper Newtownards Road just before 10.30am on Tuesday, 23 May. The man has been taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries. The road has been re-opened.

Man Dies In Three Car Collision In Dundrum
Police have issued an appeal for information following a fatal collision in Dundrum, Co Down. A 49-year-old man died at the scene of a three-car collision on the Belfast Road at about 12:20am on Thursday. It is understood that four other people are being treated in hospital following the collision.

Man Killed In South Belfast Road Collision
A man has died in a road collision in south Belfast. The victim, aged in his 30s, was killed after a silver coloured Peugeot 307 car left the carriageway on the Upper Malone Road and hit a tree at around 9.30pm on Thursday, 23 June. The road was closed, however it has now been reopened.

Renewed Appeal For Information Over Fatal Newtownards Collision
The PSNI have renewed their appeal for information on a fatal collision outside Newtownards on Tuesday 28 June. 58-year-old Lee Noble, from the Portavogie area, died as a result of injuries sustained when the grey Kawasaki motorbike he was riding was in collision with a car on the Portaferry Road outside Newtownards just after midnight on Tuesday.

Police Appeal After Stolen Car Involved In West Belfast Collision
Police are appealing for information after a stolen car was involved in a crash in west Belfast. The silver Vauxhall Zafira collided with three other cars on the Falls Road at around 8pm on Monday. It is believed the car was stolen during a creeper burglary in Servia Street.
