Five Cars Destroyed In East Belfast Arson Attack
Five cars have been destroyed in an arson attack on a business in east Belfast.
The blaze occurred just after 11.30pm on Tuesday, 04 November.
CCTV footage shows a blue Toyota Yaris, with two males inside, ramming the shutter door to gain access to the yard. The passenger exited the Yaris and set fire to the cars parked in the yard before the they made off from the scene in the direction of the Ravenhill Road. Inspector Connolly said: "I am appealing to anyone with any information, or anyone who was in the area at the time and may have captured dash cam footage which could assist with our enquiries, to contact officers at Strandtown station on 101, quoting reference number 1535 04/11/25."

Over 300 Cars Destroyed In Fire At Breakers Yard
Over 300 cars have been destroyed in a fire at a breakers yard in Co Armagh. The blaze at Fegan's Quarry on the Madden Road is being treated as suspicious, according to the police. The PSNI said they are working to establish a motive for the incident and are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

'A' Level School Leavers Increase 5%
The number of pupils in Northern Ireland achieving two or more 'A' levels or equivalent increased by 4.9% during the five years to 2012/13, according to the Department of Education. The proportion of school leavers achieving two or more 'A' levels or equivalent was 55.1%, up from from 50.2% in 2008/09.

Two Injured In Co Antrim Road Crash
Two men are receiving hospital treatment following a three vehicle crash in Co Antrim. The accident happened on the A26 Moira Road in Crumlin at around 8am on Wednesday, 23 March. Earlier police believed five cars were involved however it has since been confirmed three vehicles were involved in the collision.

Icy conditions result in several road accidents
Several people were treated in hospital today after icy road conditions resulted in a number of road accidents. In one incident four cars collided on the M5 while a second accident saw two vehicles crash on the same stretch of road. The M2 in Belfast also saw two collisions this morning due to the icy conditions.

Thirty Cars Damaged By Youths In South Belfast
PSNI are hunting for two young males who allegedly damaged thirty cars parked in the West Belfast area. The youngsters are reported to have "scratched along the entire sides of these vehicles while walking past them", causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.
