Belfast Secures Hosting Rights For UEFA EURO 2028 Qualifying Draw

Communities Minister Gordon Lyons has announced that ICC Belfast has been officially confirmed as the venue for the UEFA EURO 2028 qualifying draw, which is scheduled to take place on 6 December 2026.

Speaking after attending the tournament's official launch event in London, Minister Lyons welcomed the news, calling it "fantastic" that Northern Ireland has secured a role in the prestigious international event. He committed to working with partners to ensure the tournament delivers maximum opportunities and creates the best possible legacy for local football.

The Minister emphasised that hosting the qualifying draw will provide a crucial opportunity for local communities and football supporters to engage directly with the tournament, generating significant excitement and pride in the build-up to the EURO 2028 finals.
