Man Arrested In West Belfast Over Alleged Drug Supply Messages
A 31-year-old man was arrested in west Belfast yesterday afternoon, Thursday, 27 November 2025, by officers investigating messages circulating on social media which appeared to relate to the illegal supply of drugs.
Chief Inspector Claire Hamilton confirmed that tackling illegal drug supply is a priority for the PSNI, emphasising the severe negative impact drugs have on individuals, families, and communities across Northern Ireland.
Chief Inspector Hamilton issued a direct appeal to the public for assistance: “Our message is clear and simple: if you see or know of anyone who is dealing drugs in your local area, then contact us on 101 or make a report online via our website.”
She also encouraged anyone with information to contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
