Appeals For Information After Indecent Exposure Incident In L'Derry

Detectives are investigating a report of a male indecently exposing himself in the Slievemore Park area of Derry/Londonderry, with the incident reported to have occurred at around 9.45pm on Sunday, 2 November 2025.

Since the report was made, officers from the Ballyarnett Neighbourhood Policing Team have increased patrols and conducted extensive enquiries, including checking camera footage and carrying out house-to-house enquiries with residents.

Suspect Description and Movement

The male involved in the incident is described as:

• Approximately five foot six inches tall.

• Of a 'small solid build'.

• Wearing a balaclava, a black hooded jacket, and black trousers.

The suspect is reported to have left the area around 10pm, walking across the grass area towards the entrance of Slievemore Park.

Ballyarnett Neighbourhood Policing Team Inspector Ryan Robb said: "We take reports of this nature incredibly seriously, and our officers have been making extensive enquiries in relation to this incident."

Inspector Robb specifically appealed to anyone who was in the area—either at home or outdoors—on the evening of Sunday, 2 November, to recall if they saw any suspicious behaviour between 9.30pm and 10pm.

Police are urging residents who have not yet spoken with officers but who may have information or relevant camera footage to assist with the investigation. They are also seeking information on any similar-type incidents in the area.

Information can be reported to police on 101, quoting reference 1284 of 03/11/25. A report can also be submitted online via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/. Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Taxi Driver Shot In Dunmurry
Detectives are appealing for information following a shooting incident in the Bell Steel Manor area of Dunmurry on Sunday morning, 23 February. At approximately 10:30 am, police received a report that two masked men approached a parked taxi and fired shots through the window, striking the driver.

Investigation Launched Into Petrol Bomb Attack In Ballymena
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a report of a petrol bomb incident in the Queen Street area of Ballymena. Shortly before 10.15pm on Monday, March 4, it was reported that two petrol bombs were thrown through the living room window of a house in the area. Neither of the petrol bombs ignited.
