Victim Named In Fatal Crumlin Collision

The Police Service of Northern Ireland has officially named the woman who lost her life following a serious two-vehicle road traffic collision near Nutts Corner in Crumlin on the afternoon of Sunday 11 January.

The victim has been identified as Cathrene Kith Quiñones Singco.

In a statement confirming the details of the tragedy, Detective Inspector Stewart of the Collision Investigation Unit revealed the further heartbreaking news that Ms Singco was pregnant at the time of the incident, and her baby also passed away as a result of the crash.

"Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this time," Detective Inspector Stewart added.

A full investigation into the circumstances of the collision is currently underway, and officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Detective Inspector Stewart stated: "We are investigating what happened and require the public's assistance with our enquiries. Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have any dash-cam footage of the road at the time which could assist with our investigation, please contact us in the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference number 735 11/01/26."
