PSNI Appeal For Information In Tradesman Fraud Investigation
The Police Service of Northern Ireland has issued an appeal for information after a 34-year-old man was charged with fraud by false representation linked to reports involving tradespeople.
The man was arrested on Wednesday 4 February and subsequently charged. He is due to appear before Ballymena Magistrates' Court on Thursday 26 February. Officers are urging anyone who believes they have been targeted by a fraudulent trader, or who has information about suspicious activity involving rogue tradespeople in their area, to contact police.
Larne Neighbourhood Inspector Ash said: "If you, or someone you know has been affected by fraud, perhaps involving incomplete building work, please report it to us on 101. Information can also be provided online via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/ Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
"In an emergency, always dial 999."

Man Dies In Motorcycle Collision Near Lisburn
A 27-year-old man has died after a crash involving two off-road motorcycles near Lisburn. Ryan Phillips, aged 27, was killed in the collision which happened in a laneway close to the Park and Ride facility at Sprucefield at around 7pm on Sunday, 20 February.
