Motorcyclist in Critical Condition After Lisburn Road Collision

Detectives in South Belfast are investigating a serious road traffic collision that occurred on the Lisburn Road on Sunday, 22 March.

The incident, which took place shortly before 7.30pm near the junction with Elmwood Avenue, involved a motorcycle and a silver Volvo V40 car.

A motorcyclist, a man aged in his 30s, was transported to hospital following the crash. Police have confirmed that he remains in a critical condition. While the Lisburn Road was closed throughout the night to allow for an examination of the scene, the route has since been reopened to traffic.

Officers are now appealing to the public for assistance with their ongoing enquiries. They are particularly keen to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have captured dash-cam or mobile phone footage of the incident.
