IntoMedia Group Selects Little Heroes As 2026 Charity Of The Year
IntoMedia Group, owner of The Irish News, Q Radio and Interpress, has chosen Little Heroes, the official charity of the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children, as its Charity of the Year for 2026.
The charity was selected following a Group-wide nomination and vote. Little Heroes raises funds exclusively for the hospital, helping to provide essential medical equipment, support research into children's illnesses and enhance facilities for young patients and their families.
Throughout 2026, staff across IntoMedia Group will lead fundraising efforts and awareness campaigns on the company’s print, digital and broadcast platforms. McKeever Sportswear has donated jerseys for employees to wear at sporting and fundraising events during the year. Anne Sykes, Director at IntoMedia Group, said: "We are incredibly proud that our colleagues have chosen Little Heroes as our Charity of the Year for 2026. The work they do in supporting the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children makes a real difference to families across Northern Ireland.
"Through our platforms and the commitment of our entire team, we look forward to raising awareness and vital funds over the year ahead."
Mary McCall, CEO of Little Heroes, said: "We are proud to partner with IntoMedia Group, whose strong community focus aligns so closely with our values and purpose at Little Heroes. With the reach of The Irish News, Q Radio and other regional platforms, together with the group's financial support and the many practical ways they have already contributed to the charity, this partnership is a powerful demonstration of IntoMedia Group's commitment to making a real and lasting difference for local sick children and their families."
