Two Arrested After Reported Stabbing In North Belfast

Police received a report of a stabbing in the Bentinck Street area of north Belfast shortly after 2.05pm on Thursday, 26 March.

Two men, aged 33 and 35, were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and possessing an offensive weapon with intent.

Both men remain in police custody at this time.

At present, it is not believed that anyone has suffered life-threatening injuries. Officers remain at the scene conducting enquiries.

Two Men Arrested On Suspicion Of Kidnapping

The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Man Charged In Possession Of Heroin
A man is to appear in court charged in possession of heroin. Police arrested five people during searches of a property in Newry on Wednesday, 16 January. Two men have also been charged in possession of a Class A drug. A 50-year-old woman has also been charged with permitting premises to be used for the supply of a Class A drug.

KFC Staff Threatened At Gun Point
Staff at a KFC outlet in north Belfast have been left terrified after they were threatened at gunpoint. Two men targeted the fast-food restaurant on Brougham Street, Yorkgate, on the evening of Tuesday 05 February.

Micheal McGibbon Murder: Man And Woman Arrested
Two people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Michael McGibbon in north Belfast. Mr McGibbon, 33, was shot a number of times in an alleyway in the Ardoyne area on Friday, 15 April. He was taken to hospital to be treated, however he died from his injuries.
