Man Charged with Multiple Fraud and Driving Offences
Officers from the Strabane and Derg Neighbourhood Team have charged a 27-year-old man in connection with an investigation into forgery and fraud. He is scheduled to appear before Londonderry Magistrates Court today, 8 April.
The man faces a total of 15 charges. These include three counts of fraud by false representation, three counts of fraud by failing to disclose information, and two counts of possessing articles for use in fraud.
Further charges brought against the individual include theft, perverting the course of justice, dangerous driving, and the unlawful use of a warning beacon. He is also charged with using a motor vehicle without insurance.
In accordance with standard procedure, the Public Prosecution Service will review all charges.

Man arrested over Electoral Office fraud
A 58-year-old man from Co Tyrone has been arrested and charged following a police investigation into irregularities at an Electoral Office in the west of the province. The man was charged with 30 offences, 17 of which relate to theft and 13 of fake accounting. He will appear before a court in Omagh on November 11.

Lawyer considers client's 'overexposure'
The lawyer of a senior north Belfast loyalist has warned that he may report the Chief Constable, Sir Hugh Orde, and an unnamed Sunday newspaper editor to the Attorney General for over exposure of his client. Ihab Shoukri, from Alliance Road, was today remanded on continuing bail charged two counts of being a member of the UDA/UFF.

A 32-year-old man has been charged to court following a collision in Killylea, County Armagh, on Friday 27th December. Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland's Collision Investigation Unit charged the man with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving and one count of causing grievous bodily injury by dangerous driving.
