Police have launched an attempted murder investigation following a hijacking and explosive device attack at Dunmurry police station on Saturday, 25 April. The incident began shortly after 10.50pm when a delivery driver's vehicle was hijacked in the Twinbrook area of west Belfast.

Hazzard Commends Firefighters Battling Mourne Mountain Wildfires
South Down MP Chris Hazzard has praised the emergency services following their efforts to tackle two major wildfires in the Mourne Mountains overnight. More than 50 firefighters worked through the night to contain blazes at Slievenaman Road and the Bloody Bridge area.

Fleadh Cheoil Na hÉireann Confirms Belfast Line-Up
Belfast City Council and Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann have marked less than 100 days to Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann by revealing seven additional headline acts for the world's largest celebration of Irish music and culture. Belfast will host the All-Ireland Fleadh for the first time from Sunday 2 to Sunday 9 August.
