Police Investigate Suspicious Email Sent to Co Antrim Schools and Businesses
Police have received multiple reports today, Tuesday 19 May, regarding a suspicious email that has been circulated to various schools and businesses across the County Antrim area.
Officers are currently investigating the specific contents of the email and are carrying out a number of enquiries into the matter.
In response to the incident, police have increased reassurance patrols in the affected areas to help maintain community safety.
Throughout the course of today, police will be engaging directly with those impacted, including local schools, businesses, and partner agencies, as the investigation progresses.
Members of the public are urged to report any suspicious activity to the police by calling the non-emergency number 101, or 999 in the event of an emergency.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Two Arrested After 'Suspicious Activity'
Two men have been arrested by police following reports of suspicious activity in the North Circular Road area of Belfast. Police attended the scene and arrested two males on suspicion of burglary and possession of class A and B drugs. No further information is available.

The PSNI has announced that from Wednesday, 01 May, anyone reporting a non-emergency incident will be asked to provide an email address. Currently there is a system in place where automated email responses are provided in all online reports made to the PSNI.

Death Of Man In West Belfast Not Being Treated As Suspicious
Police have launched an investigation following the death of a man in west Belfast. The man's body was discovered in the Paris Street area on Sunday night. Police said they are not treating the death as suspicious. A post-mortem is to be carried out to establish the cause of death.
