Police Appeal for Information Following Attempted Murder Arrests
A 27-year-old woman, who was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop for police, has been released on bail to permit further police investigations to take place.
Meanwhile, a 36-year-old man remains held in police custody on suspicion of attempted murder and aggravated vehicle taking causing injury. Detectives are maintaining their appeal to the public for information and any recorded footage relating to the incident. Members of the public can contact the police by calling 101, or they can submit details online via the reporting form at www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.
Additionally, any relevant video or photographic evidence—including dashcam, mobile phone, or CCTV footage—can be uploaded directly to the police via the Major Incident Public Portal at mipp.police.uk/operation/PSNI26W09-PO1.
Information can also be provided completely anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or by visiting their website at www.crimestoppers-uk.org/.

Arrest Made In Connection With Carrickfergus Stabbing
A 41-year-old man has been arrested by detectives investigating a stabbing incident that occurred in Carrickfergus on Wednesday 27 May. Detective Inspector Lenaghan said: "A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon, following a search in the Newtownabbey area on Saturday, 30th May.
