Police Appeal for Information Following Attempted Murder Arrests
A 27-year-old woman, who was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop for police, has been released on bail to permit further police investigations to take place.
Meanwhile, a 36-year-old man remains held in police custody on suspicion of attempted murder and aggravated vehicle taking causing injury. Detectives are maintaining their appeal to the public for information and any recorded footage relating to the incident. Members of the public can contact the police by calling 101, or they can submit details online via the reporting form at www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.
Additionally, any relevant video or photographic evidence—including dashcam, mobile phone, or CCTV footage—can be uploaded directly to the police via the Major Incident Public Portal at mipp.police.uk/operation/PSNI26W09-PO1.
Information can also be provided completely anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or by visiting their website at www.crimestoppers-uk.org/.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

A 54-year-old member of police staff who was arrested in County Antrim as part of ongoing investigations into the awarding of vehicle contracts has been released. The man was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office and has been taken to a police station in Belfast for questioning.
