Titanic Quarter Launches NI's First Community-Focused App

A brand-new, free-to-use community application has been launched in Titanic Quarter, marking a first for Northern Ireland. The digital platform is designed to elevate the daily experience of individuals who live, work, visit, and stay in the iconic waterfront location.

The application consolidates an array of practical services and data into a single source. Users can access active and sustainable travel solutions, stay informed with local event schedules, receive general updates, and claim various retail and leisure discounts.

The rollout coincides with the ongoing expansion of the mixed-use district, which currently attracts over 3.5 million visitors annually and accommodates roughly 20,000 people every day. The area features prominent tourist destinations such as Titanic Belfast, SS Nomadic, and Titanic Distillers.

This technological initiative is a joint venture between Titanic Quarter Limited and Belfast Harbour.

James Eyre, Chief Executive of Titanic Quarter Ltd., commented: "This app is a first for Northern Ireland and reflects how Titanic Quarter continues to lead the way on innovation and transformation.

"It has been developed using the best practices adopted in other world-leading regeneration sites, and will be a useful communication tool as we continue to grow a district that tens of thousands of people use every day, whether they Live, Work, Visit or Stay."

Tim Boyle, Development Manager at Belfast Harbour, stated: "This app reflects the continued evolution of Titanic Quarter as a connected, modern waterfront destination.

"By embracing digital innovation, we are making it easier for residents, workers and visitors to access services, discover what's happening in the area and enjoy everything this iconic site has to offer."

The residential community in Titanic Quarter is already well-established, with developments like The ARC housing around 1,000 residents. This population is projected to expand to more than 2,700 individuals by the conclusion of 2026.

Constructed using the Equiem platform—which is also utilised by major global developments such as London's Canary Wharf—the application aims to boost health and wellbeing by highlighting public and active transport avenues alongside local events.

Ben Wilson, Regional Director – EU at Equiem, added: "Titanic Quarter is more than a development, it's a destination. Our platform is uniquely suited to bring this vision to life by connecting every group within the estate through a seamless, intelligent experience. We're proud to support Titanic Quarter's 'Live, Work, Visit, Stay' strategy and play a role in its continued regeneration."

The Titanic Quarter app is currently available for download across both Android and iOS devices.
