Detectives Appeal For Witnesses Following Serious Assault In West Belfast
Police detectives are appealing for information and witnesses after a serious assault took place in west Belfast over the weekend.
The incident is understood to have occurred within the Milford Street area, in close proximity to St Peter's Cathedral. Investigators believe the assault took place sometime between 9pm on Friday, 12th June and 10am on Saturday, 13th June.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland received a report on Saturday afternoon stating that a 38-year-old man had been admitted to hospital suffering from significant lacerations to his arm.
Enquiries are currently underway to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the attack. Detectives are eager to hear from anyone who was present in the area during the specified timeframe.
Anyone possessing information, including CCTV, dash-cam, or mobile phone footage that could aid the investigation, is urged to contact the police by calling 101, quoting the reference number 954 of 13/06/26.
