Man Charged with Attempted Murder And Riot Following Belfast Disorder
Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland have charged a man following disorder in Belfast on Tuesday, 9 June.
The 29-year-old individual faces charges of riot, attempted murder, and two counts of arson endangering life with intent.
He is scheduled to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday 30 June.
In accordance with standard procedure, the charges will undergo review by the Public Prosecution Service.

Six men who masqueraded as police officers to defraud members of the public have been sentenced at Belfast Crown Court for conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation, money laundering and possessing criminal property. The gang, aged between 31 and 61, operated between January 2020 and May 2021.
