Appeal For Witnesses After Newtownbutler Burglary

Detectives have issued an appeal for information after a burglary at a home in the Ports Road area of Newtownbutler.

Detective Sergeant Malone said: "We received a report that sometime between 7pm on Friday, 26th June and around 6.30pm on Monday, 29th June a property was entered in the Ports Road area.

"We understand entry was gained through a kitchen window that had been forced open. Latches were also damaged.

"Every room in the property had been entered and ransacked.

"We would be especially keen to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam, CCTV or mobile footage of area that we could review."

Teen Charged Over Attempted Hijacking In Dunmurry
Police have charged a 17-year-old following a reported attempted hijacking in Dunmurry in the early hours of Monday, 22 June. The teenager faces charges of hijacking, attempted grievous bodily harm with intent, robbery, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence, and possession of a Class B controlled drug.
