Police Investigate Hate Graffiti In South Belfast
Police in south Belfast are investigating after graffiti was painted at several locations in the Sandy Row area.
Neighbourhood Policing Inspector Brown said: "The graffiti, which contained a number of extremely offensive racist and misogynistic terms, was reported on Tuesday, 14th July.
"Although this has since been painted over, our investigation into this report of criminal damage continues and we are treating the graffiti as a racially-motivated hate crime.
"There is no place in our society for this type of intimidating behaviour and we will continue to engage with local representatives and partner agencies around community safety. We know the people of south Belfast will rightly condemn this disgraceful attack."
"We would appeal to anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area, or who may have relevant doorbell camera, CCTV, or other footage, to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 649 of 14/07/26.

Graffiti depicting a hooded figure below the letters 'KKK' has appeared on a door in south Belfast. The graffiti was discovered just off the London Road in the Ravenhill area, less than a month after so-called "Islamophobic" leaflets were distributed in the area.

Sectarian Graffiti Threatening Workers Daubed On Wall In West Belfast
The Alliance Party has hit out after sectarian graffiti threatening workers was daubed on a wall in west Belfast. The graffiti was scrawled across a wall at Millennium Way, close to the Caterpillar plant. MLA Stewart Dickson condemned the attack and said it "will not be tolerated".

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Police Investigate 'Foreign National' Graffiti
Police have begun investigating graffiti that has appeared in the Country Tyrone village of Moygashei warning landlords not to lease property to "foreign nationals". The vandalism occurred at some stage between 23:00 on Friday and 05:00 on Saturday morning. Police say they received a number of complaints following the appearance of the graffiti.
