Witness Appeal After Two Men Attacked In Belfast City Centre
Police are appealing for witnesses after two men were assaulted in Belfast city centre on Wednesday night, 29 July.
Inspector Connolly said: "We received a report at around 12.15am this morning, Thursday, 30th July, that two men had been assaulted in the Castle Street area of the city a few hours earlier.
"It was reported that the assaults took place at approximately 10.30pm on Wednesday night, 29th July, when both men were punched and one was rendered unconscious. Both sustained facial injuries and subsequently attended hospital for treatment.
"Officers attended the scene and our enquiries remain ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the attacks.
"We would appeal to anyone who was in the area on Wednesday night and saw what happened, or who has any information which could assist – including dash-cam, CCTV or other footage – to contact police using our witness appeal form at reporting.psni.police.uk/appeals, quoting reference 14 of 30/07/26."

Police issue appeal following knife attack
Police have appealed for information about a serious assault in Londonderry, which resulted in a man receiving 16 stitches to his throat. The 32-year-old man was walking along Westland Street when two men confronted him around 2.30 on Thursday June 13. One pushed him and the other grabbed him from behind and put a knife against his throat.

Two Men Attacked With Baseball Bats In Co Antrim
Two 18-year-old men have been attacked with baseball bats in Whitehead, Co Antrim. The victims were closing premises in the Balmoral Avenue area at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, 04 October when three men assaulted them. Both men were treated in hospital for their injuries. One has been discharged, and the other remains in hospital.
