Solmatix has been named a registered Tesla Powerwall installer, giving homeowners across Northern Ireland access to Tesla's newest home energy storage system.

Tesla Powerwall 3, along with its expansion units, is now available to order in the region, with both backup and non-backup installation configurations offered.

The accreditation follows specialist Tesla training for Solmatix's team, equipping engineers with the expertise to design and install systems for customers nationwide.

Powerwall 3 integrates a home battery with a solar inverter, delivering up to 11.04kW of output. It enables households to store electricity generated by solar panels, helping reduce reliance on the grid and manage energy bills more effectively.

Each unit provides 13.5kWh of storage, and up to three expansion units can be added per system, each supplying an additional 13.5kWh. This lets homeowners scale capacity in line with current usage and future needs.

Powerwall 3 can be installed as part of a new solar-and-battery package or, where eligible, alongside existing solar PV. Backup options are available to add resilience during grid outages when appropriately configured.
