Appeal After Burglary And Car Theft In Bellaghy
Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following a burglary and vehicle theft in Bellaghy.
At around 2am on Sunday 9 August, police received a report of a car being driven dangerously in the Mullaghboy Road area. The vehicle crashed into a field before leaving the scene at speed.
Enquiries established the car had been stolen from outside a nearby property after entry was gained to a house and the keys were taken.
Officers later located the damaged vehicle abandoned close to the junction of Old Tyanee Road and Glenone Road at approximately 2.40am. No one was present.
Police are asking anyone who was in these areas shortly before 2am and noticed anything suspicious to get in touch.
Anyone with dash-cam, CCTV or other footage is asked to use the witness appeal form at reporting.psni.police.uk/appeals quoting reference 213 09/08/26.

Two Arrested Following Car Theft And Dangerous Driving In Belfast
Two men have been arrested in connection with a car theft and dangerous driving incident in south Belfast. The incident began on Tuesday evening when a brown Range Rover Evoque was stolen from a public car park in the Ratcliffe Street area. The vehicle's owner discovered the theft upon returning to the parking lot around 10:30pm.
