Two Men Held After Cannabis Factory Uncovered In Larne
Police in Mid and East Antrim have arrested two men on drugs-related offences after discovering a cannabis factory in Larne.
Officers attended a property in the Millbrook area following a report at around 9.20am of suspected cannabis plants. A subsequent search of the address confirmed the presence of the plants.
Two men, both aged in their 20s, were arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and using a motor vehicle without insurance. They remain in police custody at this time.
Targeting drugs supply is a priority for the Police Service of Northern Ireland. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information that could assist is asked to call the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 354 of 13/08/26.
Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.

A 22-year-old man has been charged after £16,000 worth of cannabis plants were seized in L'Derry. The discovery was made after police searched a house in the Waterside area on Friday, 22 September. The suspect has been accused of growing cannabis, possession of a Class B drug and intent to supply.
