Nearly 200 East Belfast Children Join Cross-Community Football Camp

Almost 200 children from East Belfast took part in a week-long football camp run by Bloomfield Football Club with support from the Housing Executive.

The cross-community initiative gave participants the chance to develop their football skills and make new friends.

Blaine McMillan, from Bloomfield Football Club, said: "We put on a fantastic week of football enjoyed by children of all ages in the area.

"It gave children the chance to meet new people from different backgrounds and make lasting friendships, which is what community football is all about.
