L'Derry Traffic Advice As Charity Walk And Parade Set For 12 September
Police have advised the public and road users to expect traffic disruption this weekend, with two events taking place on Saturday, 12 September.
A charity walk will depart Ebrington Square at 9.15am. The route will cover parts of both the cityside and the Waterside before heading out of the city through Greysteel and Ballykelly, arriving in Limavady town centre for 6.30pm.
Also on Saturday morning, a parade will leave Lincoln Court Community Centre in the Waterside at 10.40am. The procession will travel via Rossdowney Road, Glendermott Road, Spencer Road, Craigavon Bridge and Carlisle Road towards The Diamond in the city centre, with dispersal shortly after midday on Society Street at 12.15.
Drivers using these routes are asked to exercise extra caution and allow additional time for their journeys.

Commissioned as part of Belfast City Council's commitment to celebrating the city's creative talent, the new piece by artist Mel Carroll will be displayed inside the building alongside portraits of other previous Lord Mayors.
