Arsonists target Masonic hall
Arsonists are thought to have been behind an attack on a Masonic hall in south Belfast last night.
The fire was discovered at Park Road off the Ormeau Road at about midnight on Monday.
Flammable liquid is believed to have been poured through a gap left after a padlock on a window grill had been cut off. The resulting fire left damage on the ground floor.
Police do not believe the attack was sectarian but have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

ASSEMBLY CREATE AWARD TO HONOUR FIRE SERVICE
THE Northern Ireland Fire Service is to receive the first ever award given by the province's devolved assembly. An illuminated scroll is to be presented to Chief Fire Officer John McClelland on Tuesday, by assembly speaker Lord Alderdice in tribute to the sacrifice made by fire fighters over the years.
