DVLNI to move Belfast office to new Gasworks site

The DVLNI has announced that its Belfast Vehicle Licensing office is to move from Queen Street in the centre of the city to the new Gasworks site.

The Government Agency, which has been in the present office at Royston House for 25 years, will close its doors for the last time on Thursday.

The new premises are at Cromac Avenue, on the new gasworks site off the Ormeau Road, and will be open for business from noon next, however the contact telephone will remain the same on 028 9054 2042.

A spokesperson for the Agency said: "I would remind the public that they can also tax their vehicles at a number of post offices close to the city centre, including Castle Place, Bedford Street, Shaftesbury Square and Yorkgate.

"We have a full list of post offices offering relicensing facilities available on our website at www.dvlni.gov.uk or these can be obtained by telephoning the Post Office helpline number on 08457 223344."
