Armed robbers threaten Florist staff

Detectives in Newtownabbey are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a Florist shop on Monday afternoon.

Shortly after 4.30pm, two masked men entered the shop in the Ballyclare Road area of Glengormley armed with handguns. The men threatened the staff and removed the contents of the till before one female staff member was pushed and her handbag rifled.

Detectives believe the men may have escaped in a Vauxhall Nova car bearing false plates. They then abandoned the car and may have fled in a blue coloured Renault Megane in a nearby supermarket car park.

One of the robbers is described as being in his early twenties, around 5’5” tall, of stocky build with blonde hair and wearing a blue tracksuit. The second robber was wearing a green coloured tracksuit top. Both men had Belfast accents.

Three men sought in Belfast jewellers robbery
Detectives in Musgrave Street are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a jewellers shop in south Belfast. Shortly after 9.30am on Monday morning, three men, one armed with a handgun, entered the shop on the Lisburn Road and threatened staff. They then stole a quantity of diamond rings worth an estimated £150,000.

Appeal After Masked Men Force Entry Into Home Of Elderly Man
