Man found with stab wound to the head
A man is being treated in hospital after being stabbed in the back of the head in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The 25-year-old victim was discovered at a flat in the Sandy Row area of south Belfast shortly before 4am. He was immediately taken to hospital were his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Police, who are treating the incident as attempted murder, say they are trying to establish a motive for the stabbing and have appealed for any witnesses to contact them at Musgrave Street on 028 90650 222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

22-Year-Old Man Jailed For Rape At Laganside Crown Court
A 22-year-old man has been sentenced to six years for rape at Laganside Crown Court. Ahmad Alsbaihi was sentenced to six years. He will serve three years in custody and three years on licence. Man Arrested In Connection With 1992 Police Officer Murder
A 59-year-old man has been arrested at Birmingham Airport in connection with a fatal mortar attack in Newry in 1992. The man was arrested on Wednesday, 21 February by detectives from PSNI's Legacy Investigation Branch, investigating the murder of Constable Colleen McMurray and the attempted murder of her colleague in 1992.
