Man beaten in north Belfast home
A man has been attacked at his home in north Belfast on Thursday.
Police said that the 46-year-old was tied up and then beaten with a baton by three masked men at his house on the Serpentine Road shortly before 11.15pm.
The victim's two children, aged 10 and 12 years, were asleep upstairs during the incident and were unhurt.
A member of the public raised the alarm after seeing the victim run onto the street after the attack. He has been treated for head and eye injuries.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them on 028 9065 0222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Man Jailed For Manslaughter Of David James Conville
A 31-year-old man has been jailed at Belfast Crown Court for the manslaughter of David James Conville in south Belfast in May, 2022. Edward Kelly was sentenced to serve three-and-a-half years, half of his sentence will be served in custody and half will be served on licence, following his guilty plea last November.

Belfast Man Handed Two-Year Stalking Protection Order
The PSNI have welcomed a two-year Stalking Protection Order (SPO) handed down to a 46-year-old Belfast man at Belfast Magistrates Court. The man had been found guilty of stalking and harassing his 50-year-old female ex-partner.

The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Man attacked in north Belfast
A man has been taken to hospital after an attack in north Belfast on Monday. The victim was seriously assaulted in Kansas Avenue, off the Antrim Road, at around 4.30am. One man has been arrested and the road remains closed as the police examine the scene.
