Man arrested in connection with Lisa murder is released

The man arrested in connection with the murder of Bangor woman Lisa Dorrian has been released, police have said.

The 18-year-old man was detained in the Greater Belfast area on Tuesday but has since been released without charge.

The man is the fourth person to be questioned in connection with inquiries into the 25-year-old’s killing.

On Monday, Lisa’s family released 26 white balloons to mark her 26th birthday.

She disappeared after a party at a caravan site in Ballyhalbert on 28 February. Her body has yet to be found.

Lisa's parents, John and Patricia, and her sisters, Joanne and Michelle, took part in the tribute.

Loyalist paramilitaries are thought to have been behind Lisa’s murder however last month the Loyalist Volunteer Force (LVF) denied any involvement in the killing.

The family has offered a £10,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of her body.
