Cancer charity to launch ‘Yummy Mummy Week!’

Leading children’s cancer charity ‘CLIC Sargent’ is to launch a national event aimed at encouraging mums across the UK to have ‘fun’ while raising money for cancer victims.

‘Yummy Mummy Week!’, which will take place this September, aims to raise over £100,000 for children with cancer and their families.

Participants will also have the opportunity to win a Honda FR-V car as well as a number of smaller prizes during the week.

Each week in Northern Ireland two children are diagnosed with cancer or leukaemia.

CLIC Sargent acts as a lifeline, providing clinical, psychosocial, emotional and financial care and support to those children and young people and their families.

Anyone interested in taking part can do so by registering online at www.clicsargent.org.uk/yummymummy or by telephone on 08451 206 658.
