Victim injured in overnight shooting
Police are appealing for information after a man was shot in Londonderry on Monday.
The victim was sitting in the front room of a house in Glen Galliagh Park when a shot was fired through the window.
He was immediately taken to hospital and treated for chest and face injuries, however, they are not believed to be life threatening.
Anyone who may have been in the area at around 11pm and noticed anything suspicious is asked to contact detectives at Strand Road on 028 9065 0222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Houses damaged in separate petrol bomb attacks
Two houses have been attacked in separate petrol bomb attacks in Belfast and Downpatrick. In north Belfast, a device was thrown through a glass pane in the front door of a house on the Crumlin Road at around 11pm last night. In Downpatrick, a house in the Mount Crescent area suffered scorch damage in the early hours of Friday morning.

Larne couple told to leave area within 24 hours
An armed gang which forced their way into a house in Larne has ordered a Protestant man and his Catholic girlfriend to leave the area within 24 hours. At around 11pm last night a masked gang forced their way into the couple's home on the loyalist Craigyhill estate in Larne.

Man Shot In The Leg In L'Derry
A man in his 30s has been shot in the leg in L'Derry. Police say the incident in the Magowan Park area of Creggan on Wednesday night, 18 March, has all the hallmarks of a paramilitary-style attack. The victim has been taken to hospital for treatment.

Shipyard worker breaks leg in fall
A Harland and Wolff shipyard worker is being treated in hospital today after breaking his leg during a fall from a ship. The workman fell 15 feet into the hold of the ship at Queen's Island at around 11pm last night. Fire crews were called to the scene of the incident and used special lifting equipment to remove the worker from the hold.

Strabane device 'an elaborate hoax'
Police have declared a device left outside the home of a Strabane family as an elaborate hoax. Army bomb experts were called to the house in the Ballycolman estate at around 11pm last night.
