Police appeal over missing girl

Police are appealing for help following the disappearance of a 15-year-old girl from Co Antrim last week.

Emma Wilson, 15, has been missing from her home in Dhu Varren, Portrush, since October 6. Detectives believe she may have been abducted after she was last seen boarding a train to Belfast with an older man on Tuesday.

The man is described as being in his early 20s, 5ft 10ins, of slim build and with "obviously dyed blonde hair".

Emma is described as 5'1" tall, of thin build, with shoulder length dark brown hair with blonde streaks. When last seen she was wearing her school uniform - a grey jumper and trousers and a blue blazer - but may since have changed her clothes.

Detective Inspector Gary Crawford appealed for Emma to "come forward and let us know where she is, and if she's safe".

"If anybody has seen Emma with a person matching that description, particularly any guest houses or any residential areas in the Belfast area where Emma may have been taken to, to contact the police immediately," he added.

Anyone who has any information is urged to contact detectives at Coleraine on 028 7034 4122 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
