Man charged with two counts of abduction
A 20-year-old man has appeared in court today on two charges of abducting teenage girls.
Paul Gerard Samuel James Leckie of no fixed address is charged with abducting a 15-year-old girl between 6-12 October and another girl between 18 June and 5 July this year.
A detective constable told the court he believed he could connect the defendant to the charges.
Mr Leckie was released on bail but was ordered not to have any contact with either of the alleged victims.
He is expected to appear in court again on 11 November.

Man Charged Over Banbridge Murder
A man charged with the murder of another man found dead in Banbridge is to appear before Newry Magistrates' Court today, 13 July. The body of 55-year-old Richard Gerard Scullion was found at a property in the Millmount Court area on Monday, 09 July. Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Lawyer considers client's 'overexposure'
The lawyer of a senior north Belfast loyalist has warned that he may report the Chief Constable, Sir Hugh Orde, and an unnamed Sunday newspaper editor to the Attorney General for over exposure of his client. Ihab Shoukri, from Alliance Road, was today remanded on continuing bail charged two counts of being a member of the UDA/UFF.
