Five people injured during attack
Five people have been injured following an attack in Co Antrim at the weekend.
Shortly after 1.30am on Sunday a man and two women were assaulted by a group of youths as they left a social club at the Broughshane Street junction in Ballymena. They sustained minor injuries.
Two men and a woman who went to the victims’ aid shortly afterwards were also assaulted during the incident. One of the men sustained a serious injury to his ear and was taken to hospital where he underwent treatment.
Two men were arrested in connection with the incident
Anyone who was in the area at the time and who witnessed the assaults is urged to contact detectives at Ballymena on 028 2766 2222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Appeal Following Arson Attack In South Belfast
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following an arson attack at a property in south Belfast. At approximately 10.20pm on Saturday, 13 April, police received a report of a fire at a house in the Kilburn Street area. PSNI Investigates Arson Attack In L'Derry
The PSNI have launched an investigation into an arson attack in L'Derry on Monday, 11 March. At around 11.30pm last night, it was reported to police that two vehicles were on fire in the Grainan Drive area. Police and NIFRS attended the scene. Both vehicles sustained significant damage. Two other vehicles were also damaged as a result of the fire.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a petrol bomb attack in Banbridge, in the early hours of Tuesday 19th March. It was reported that at around 2.10am on Tuesday morning, two petrol bombs were thrown at the back wall of a house in the Castlewellan Road area, causing scorch damage to the wall and a window frame.
