One person dies in Co Down RTC

One person has died following a serious road traffic collision in Co Down at the weekend.

Shortly after midnight on Saturday, a Citroen Berlingo van, a Citroen Xsara car and a VW Polo car were in collision on the Camlough Road, Newry.

The male driver of the van was fatally injured in the collision. The other two drivers were taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Police want to speak with anyone who was travelling on the Camlough Road close to Carrickcruppin GAA Club between midnight and 12.15am.

Additionally, anyone who saw the incident or any of the vehicles involved shortly beforehand is asked to contact Ardmore Station on 0845 600 8000.

Man Killed In Co Antrim Road Collision Named
A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
