Man injured in Co Down shooting
A man is being treated in hospital after being shot a number of times at a house in Co Down.
Two masked men forced their way into the house in Elmwood Drive, Bangor, and opened fire just before 11pm on Thursday.
The victim, who is believed to be in his 30s, is currently in a stable condition in hospital.
A blue Renault 19 car, found burnt out in nearby Clandeboye Close in the town, is thought to have been used by those who carried out the attack.
Police do not yet know what the motive for the attack was however they have appealed for witnesses to contact them.

22-Year-Old Man Jailed For Rape At Laganside Crown Court
A 22-year-old man has been sentenced to six years for rape at Laganside Crown Court. Ahmad Alsbaihi was sentenced to six years. He will serve three years in custody and three years on licence. He will be placed on the Sex Offenders Register and will be subject to a Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO) for 10 years.

Suspected cannabis, worth an estimated £60,000, has been seized following a search operation in Ballymoney on Saturday, 20 April. Detectives from PSNI's Organised Crime Unit conducted the search, and a 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B controlled drug with intent to supply.
