Two killed in separate weekend road crashes
Two people have been killed this weekend in separate road traffic collisions in County Down.
A 44-year old motorcyclist and a 19-year-old front seat passenger lost their lives in the two crashes.
The motorcyclist died after the motorbike he was riding was involved in a collision with a car yesterday afternoon. The incident happened at around 2.30pm in the Temple area of
Carryduff.
Police have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the accident to contact police in Lisburn.
Later, a 19-year-old man died following a two-car collision outside Downpatrick.
Two people were treated in hospital following the crash on the Ardglass Road.
Police said the teenager had been a front seat passenger in one of the cars when it was involved in a collision with another car, shortly after 7pm on Sunday evening.
The PSNI have asked for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.

Ministers have welcomed an investment of £22.3 million from Belfast Distillery Company at Crumlin Road Gaol. The investment includes plans to regenerate the A Wing of the Crumlin Road Gaol into the J&J McConnell's Distillery and world-class visitor experience, and to create 49 new jobs.

Woman Killed In Co Armagh Road Collision
A woman in her 30s has been killed in a road crash in Portadown, Co Armagh. The woman was hit by a car as she was walking on the side of the Moy Road at around 9.45pm on Tuesday. The road was closed for a short time but it has been reopened. Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
