Man assaulted in Ballymena attack
Police in Ballymena have appealed for information following an assault in the town last night.
The man was walking along the Broughshane Road, close to the rugby club, when the attack took place.
A van pulled up alongside the victim and bundled him inside, where he was then assaulted.
Detectives in Ballymena have asked for anyone who may have seen a dirty coloured Transit type van with two men onboard between the times of 10pm and 11pm, to contact them.
The van is also believed to have an MKZ or NKZ registration and a double ladder roof rack.
Anyone with any information should contact police on 0845 600 8000, or on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Man Assaulted And Struck By Van
A man has been left seriously injured after he was assaulted and then struck by a van in L'Derry. Detectives are seeking witnesses to the incident in Drumleck Gardens at around 1.40am on Sunday morning, 26 May.

Post Office Van Driver Hijacked In West Belfast
A post office van driver has been hijacked and threatened with a knife in west Belfast. The vehicle was stolen in Ross Road on Tuesday which was later found abandoned in the Valleyside Close area. A security alert was launched and the part of the Springfield Road was closed on Wednesday, however it has since been re-opened.
