New Job Opportunities In Ireland

Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) is the new craze which seems to be taking Ireland by storm.

With the increase of non-national workers into the country a huge job opportunity has become apparent to us natives, teaching English to Foreign Nationals! We don’t even need to be qualified teachers. The fact is that all of us native Irish have fluent English so already we have met half of the TEFL requirements. A simple TEFL course run locally can give you the other half. All you need to do is complete an 80hr TEFL diploma. i-to-i holds them all year, country-wide, and in one weekend you can be fully qualified. The best way to go about getting a substantial income from teaching English as a foreign language is to set up as a private TEFL tutor. Some of the main steps you would take to become a TEFL tutor in Ireland are as follows:

  1. Take your 80hr i-to-i TEFL diploma (Call 058 40050)
  2. Research the number of prospective students in your area and check TEFL tutor rates in Ireland
  3. Arrange a venue i.e. at home or in a room in a local school or hotel
  4. Advertise locally i.e. on your local paper, posters, flyers etc.
Grab the TEFL bull by the horns and earn some extra income with i-to-i‘s special offer for their 80hr TEFL diploma. The diploma is reduced from €550 to €450 with a saving of €100 until February 28th 2006. The next Belfast course is on the 18th – 19th February and 25th – 26th March at Express by Holiday Inn. So be quick to book your spot!

Contact i-to-i on 058 40050 or visit www.weekendtefl.ie for information.
